Dr. Bruce F. Farber has 40 years of experience in the field of Infectious Disease. He earned his BS from Northwestern University and his MD from Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. After completing his internship and residency in Internal Medicine, he went on to complete his fellowship in Epidemiology and Infectious Disease at the University of Virginia Hospital. He completed other fellowships in Infectious Diseases at Massachusetts General Hospital and Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. Today, this expert is board certified in Internal Medicine and Infectious Disease by the American Board of Internal Medicine. Formerly, he held roles as the Associate Chief of Infectious Diseases and the Director of Infection Control at North Shore University Hospital and as the Jane and Dayton Brown Professor of Medicine at Albert ​​Einstein ​​College ​​of​​ Medicine. Currently, he serves as Chief of Infectious Diseases at Long Island Jewish Medical Center, as the Jane and Dayton Brown Professor of Medicine at Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra / Northwell, and as Chief Public Health and Epidemiology Officer in the Department of Medicine at Northwell Health.
