Dr. Kambiz Farahmand in industrial engineering received his BS in petroleum engineering from the University of Oklahoma. He then went on to receive his MS and his PhD in industrial engineering from the University of Texas at Arlington. He is a licensed professional engineer in Texas and North Dakota and is a member of the Institute of Industrial Engineers. He has published widely and has received prestigious research grants. In the past, he served as a professor and the director of industrial engineering at Texas A&M University Kingsville. He is now a professor and the department chair of industrial and manufacturing engineering and management at a university in North Dakota.
